I am not posting this picture but rather the link to it for the following reason:
- It makes you want to cry, and none of us need that more than once.
Seriously, I accidentally came across this (I was looking for a piece my brother did. The complete opposite of this), and literally felt like my heart had been ripped out of my chest. I avoid seeing pictures like this for three very specific reasons:
- My reaction is to give away all my money in an effort to save every last animal I can (you think I joke, not ten minutes ago I donated waay too much money to my favorite animal rescue group. I am such a sap, one picture is all it takes).
- It depresses me for days.
- If given the opportunity I would adopt every last animal I could (and my one cat is already too much).
HOWEVER, I am posting the link NOT to depress you or force you to spend excessive amounts of money, but rather as a reminder to take wonderful care of the animals in your life and when possible try to help the ones that need some loving (in any way you can).
I will try to make everything else today very uplifting to make up for this. Cross my heart.
