While it is rather adorable when the kid next door calls me Miss Meghan, I find it highly irritating when grown strangers call me that. For example; the agent I am on the phone with at this very moment keeps calling me Miss Meg. I know that when I was listed as an authorized contact for this case I was NOT listed as Miss Meg. (She just did it again). I find it patronizing. Call me Meg, call me Meghan, even call me Miss Totten if your so inclined. But seriously, if you are calling me by my first name or an abbreviation of my first name, do not throw the word Miss in front of it. That is just dumb.
