My family is in the Cape (with out me, which is why I am here with the dog). Since my Mother left (she and Lilly are homegirls), Lilly has taken up sleeping in the bathroom at all times (the dog is wicked neurotic). While this is strange, its not really a big deal (I trip over her getting out of the shower ... thats annoying), except for one thing. The steam from my wonderfully hot showers gets her pretty damp and now she smells (FYI: wet goldens smell fucking atrocious). Despite her wretched smell I can't bring myself to kick her out when I shower (or shower in one of the other bathrooms in this very empty house) because all she is trying to do is hangout with me (due to what I am sure is separation anxiety from my Mothers absence), but during the week I am never around (I work too much and I have a tendency to overcommit myself). I am thinking about shaving her. Less hair equals less smell. Right? Right.
